Russia carried out another massive airstrike on Kiev on Tuesday morning, injuring at least three people. It was the eighth against Kiev in the last month. Drones, cruise missiles and possibly even ballistic missiles were used in the attack early Tuesday morning.
The air raid sirens sounded over almost all of Ukraine, in parts of the capital they were heard for almost three hours. Tuesday morning's attack was the eighth against Kiev in the past month.
Three people have been reported injured after Tuesday's attack.
“It was extreme in its density – as many attacking robots as possible in as little time as possible. According to preliminary information, the vast majority of targets were detected and destroyed in the airspace," said Sergiy Popko, head of the Kyiv military administration, according to Reuters.
On Tuesday morning, debris fell from the sky as Russian robots and drones were hit by Ukrainian defenses. Among other things, drones were shot down near Kiev airport. The scrap caused a number of car fires, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
