Transport regional councilor Anton Fendert (MP) refers to a hard-pressed economy, while the opposition’s Kristoffer Tamsons (M) believes that the board should raise SL prices instead.

Opposition regional councilor Kristoffer Tamsons (M) is sharply critical of the proposals. He emphasizes that a significant factor in the context is the governing center coalition’s decision to freeze the SL tariffs.
Anton Fendert turns against Tamson’s reasoning. He says that an increase of approximately SEK 400 for the SL card would be necessary. Kristoffer Tamsons says that he has already noticed that travelers are gathering to protest against the proposals.
